Qualcomm Working on Snapdragon 850 Chip to Power Windows 10 ARM Devices

Windows on ARMA new-generation Always Connected PCs powered by Windows 10 on ARM is projected to hit the market later this year, and according to a new report, they could come with an exclusive processor this time.

Windows 10 on ARM devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips, which are typically used on mobile devices but undergo a series of optimizations to be fitted on PCs.

While the first models were powered by a tweaked version of the Snapdragon 835 chip, the same one that was installed on high-end smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S8, the 2018 models would come with an exclusive processor called Snapdragon 850.
